Tara and the Lib Dems, working hard for you in Easington
Why vote Lib Dem in Easington? Here are just a few reasons:
1. The Lib Dems are keen to represent the people. They want to hear from local people to find out what they want. Lib Dems will listen to what you have to say, and try their best to act upon it.
2. We want to get more police on the streets. County Durham has suffered huge cuts in policing under Labour, and this must end. More bobbies on the beat would help cut crime and the fear of cirme.
3. We want to make all pensioners better off now. We would introduce a Citizen's Pension which would be paid to everyone who meets residency criteria. We also want to help people get and keep jobs that can give them a decent standard of living, as well as ensuring that no-one already in work lives in poverty.
4. We want a fairer tax system, which would mean that people pay what they can afford. This would cut taxes for middle and low earners by £700 per year.
