"Thank you" from Tara

With Sir Alan Beith MP

Tara with MP Alan Beith during the election campaign

Thank you all so much for your support over the last few months, and crucially - for voting for me and the Lib Dems! Obviously we were disappointed not to win, but we were pleased with the result - we increased the number of our votes, increased our share of the vote to 16%, and moved ourselves into a strong second place with 5,597 votes. Now we're the only real challengers to Labour. With your help we can go from strength to strength. If you're interested in becoming a member and delivering a few leaflets every now and then, please get in contact. It will really help us have a better chance next time! Tara

It removed free access to bulky waste removal enjoyed by residents of areas such as Easington.
