"Thank you" from Tara
Tara with MP Alan Beith during the election campaign
|
Thank you all so much for your support over the last few months, and crucially - for voting for me and the Lib Dems!
Obviously we were disappointed not to win, but we were pleased with the result - we increased the number of our votes, increased our share of the vote to 16%, and moved ourselves into a strong second place with 5,597 votes. Now we're the only real challengers to Labour.
With your help we can go from strength to strength. If you're interested in becoming a member and delivering a few leaflets every now and then, please get in contact. It will really help us have a better chance next time! Tara
